Will Stansbury Joins CDP Board of Directors
Boston, MA – The Contributor Development Partnership (CDP) today announced the appointment of Will Stansbury to its Board of Directors.
“For anyone that’s been in public media for any length of time, Will Stansbury needs no introduction: he is a mission-driven technology strategist and leader with over two decades of experience at the intersection of strategy, technology, and social good. His deep technological experience along with his passion for public media and purpose-driven work make him a strong addition to the CDP board and I’m excited about the perspective he will bring to our work as we continue to advance a shared data infrastructure for public media,” said Michal Heiplik, President of CDP.
Stansbury has held senior leadership roles in the nonprofit technology sector, including at Blackbaud and roundCorner where he partnered with nonprofit organizations to design and implement solutions that transform how they use data and technology to drive mission impact.
“Since its inception, I have watched CDP grow into one of public media’s most important and trusted partners. I’ve always been impressed by their mission-driven, station-centric approach to supporting the public service mission of local public media stations large and small and I look forward to serving on their board,” said Stansbury.
Stansbury also currently serves on the Board of Trustees at The Cambridge School of Weston, a progressive independent school dedicated to fostering creativity and critical thinking. He has previously served on the board of ArtsBoston and as a tutor with Year Up. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and lives in Arlington, Massachusetts with his wife Diane.
With his appointment, the CDP Board now includes 11 members.
