Karla Hanlon of Rocky Mountain Public Media Joins CDP Board of Directors
Boston, MA [10/8/25] The Contributor Development Partnership (CDP) today announced the appointment of Karla Hanlon, Chief Operating Officer of Rocky Mountain Public Media (RMPM), to its Board of Directors.
“Karla brings a combination of financial acumen, operational leadership, and values-based decision-making to the CDP Board,” said Michal Heiplik, President & CEO of CDP. “Her deep understanding of what it takes to drive financial sustainability and operational excellence in public media—while keeping communities at the center—is well aligned with CDP’s values and will play a vital role as CDP continues to build its Audience Activation Platform and develop other new tools that will strengthen the entire public media system as it enters an era of new financial realities.”
As COO of Rocky Mountain Public Media, Hanlon focuses on driving financial sustainability and creating efficient, adaptive operations.
Prior to joining RMPM, Hanlon served as CFO/COO and Interim CEO for the Jewish Community Centers of Denver and as Vice President of Finance and Operations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado.
“I’m honored to join CDP’s Board of Directors,” said Hanlon. “Rocky Mountain Public Media is a member of, and an advocate for, CDP’s Member Services Bureau, so I’ve seen first-hand the crucial role CDP plays in helping public media organizations navigate fundraising-related financial and operational challenges with data-driven insight and collaboration. I’m excited to contribute to an organization that shares my belief that strong, sustainable operations and bold innovation are essential to serving our communities.”
With Hanlon’s appointment, the CDP Board now includes 12 members, representing a diverse cross-section of leadership and expertise across public media. https://www.cdpcommunity.org/board
