“Each month we look at each station’s membership revenue over the prior two years, adding up the revenue results in 3-month intervals. Then we compare each total with the same period in the prior year to calculate a percent change,” said Jim O’Shaughnessy, Director of Data & Analytics at CDP. “We weight the percent change based on station size and calculate a median across the year to determine a more accurate illustration of the entire system and protect against outliers.”
